Take a Break is Scotland’s short break fund for disabled children and their families. It aims to provide families with the choice and opportunity to access a single or ongoing break from caring.
MFR Cash for Kids
Cash for Kids is the official charity of Moray Firth Radio and provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children around the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire.
Each year they hope to have thousands of pounds available for grants to children’s charities, individuals and many other causes throughout the MFR transmission area.
Family Fund helps families across the UK who are raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person aged 17 or under. Look at their website for further information about applying or finding out if you are eligible.
CHIP+ offers information, support and advice to the families and carers of children and young people with additional support needs, and to professionals who work with them.
Based in Inverness, CHIP+ offers a friendly, free and confidential service throughout Highland region.
